This String Bag isn't turning out the way I thought it would, but that doesn't matter, it's just an experiment anyway. The nylon (maybe) twine is a bit stiff and quietly slips off a peg when I'm not looking BUT, it doesn't unravel either, so that's a good thing I guess. It's resistance to my efforts to keep it bent have meant that I have come up with what I think may be a new Loom Knitting stitch – Twisted Purl. No, I'm not naming it after some crazy lady (which reminds me: I had a couple of aunties my kids called Patty and Selma like in The Simpson's. Quite appropriate, too, I thought). I've put the directions and photos of the stitch here.
